Michael Seaman is LA-based pianist, composer, and music director attracting the attention of audiences and musicians alike for his passionate and fresh take on the jazz and pop traditions. His compositions and arrangements have been featured with the South Dakota Symphony, Disclosure, Kawai Pianos, Netflix’s The Monkey King (2023), HBO’s Perry Mason (2020), Engelbert Humperdinck’s 2021 Reflections international tour, and in his own 12-piece jazz big band The Fresh Rhythm with Luke Carlsen.
Seaman’s performance and compositional background spans numerous genres, comfortably fitting into the idioms of jazz, classical, pop, rock, country, blues, musical theatre and more. His interpretation of musical tradition regularly draws audiences to some of LA’s top venues (Vibrato Jazz Grill, Disneyland Resort, Catalina Jazz Club, The Starlight Amphitheater, etc.). Michael is a Kawai artist.
